The Sandy Lane Wedding Package includes

• Wedding Planner services.
• Transportation to Bridgetown to obtain Marriage License.

• Separate fees of US$ 175.00 are payable to the Court and to the Magistrate in respect of civil marriages by a magistrate.

• Wedding Cake for a maximum of 8 Persons.

Optional Extras

Options available for the ceremony include the following:

• Photographer (36 prints, negatives & album) BDS $ 1,800.00 US $ 900.00 (24 prints, negatives & album) BDS $ 1,400.00 US $ 700.00.

• Flutist BDS $ 750.00 US $ 350.00 per hour.
• One Man Steel Band BDS $ 750.00 US $ 370.00 per hour.

What You Need to Know About Your Wedding in Barbados

Requirements for Getting Married in Barbados

Applications for a marriage license must be made by both parties in person at the office of Ministry of Homes Affairs. (We can arrange transportation).

Documents Required

• Valid passports or the original or certified copies of the applicants’ birth certificates.
• If either party was married previously and widowed, a certified copy of the marriage certificate and death certificate in respect of the deceased spouse.
• If either party was divorced, an official Decree Absolute or a certified copy of Final Judgment not the Decree Nisi.

N.B.: All documents not in English must be accompanied by a translation certified by an authorised Notary Public NOT a Justice of the Peace.

Fees

If neither party is a citizen or resident of Barbados - $200.00 plus $25.00 stamp duty.

If either party is a citizen of Barbados a fee of $45.00; plus $ 10.00 Stamp Duty will be charged. (Fees are included in package price).

Separate fees are payable to the Court and to the Magistrate in respect of civil marriages.

Arrangements should be made with marriage officer (magistrate or minister of religion authorized to be a marriage officer in Barbados) prior to the completion of an application form for the license.

(We will make the necessary arrangements with the priest or magistrate for you and furnish you with his/her name).

After the ceremony your marriage must be registered at the central registry in Bridgetown. The sealed certificate will be delivered to you in two days if you are still here or mailed to your home address.
